Add registration to your website

Put a Register button on your church or business website, or the whole registration form, so people sign up without leaving your page.

You have two choices, both on your event's Share page (open the event, then Share & website button). Pick one, or use both on different pages.

Which one?

Register button: a button on your site that opens your Regify registration page. It works on any website, takes a minute, and always works. Use it if your event needs people to sign in, or if your website won't accept code.

Registration form (widget): the full form, including payment, right on your page. People never leave your site. It only shows on websites you've listed, and you'll see how many people signed up on each.

Add a Register button

  1. On the Share page, under Register button for your website, type where it will go (for example Church website) and click Create button.
  2. Change the button text, color, size and shape if you like, then click Save style.
  3. Click Copy code and paste it into your website (see Where to paste below). Prefer a plain link? Click Copy link instead and use it anywhere a link can go.

Add the registration form

  1. On the Share page, under Registration on your website, add your website's address (for example www.yourchurch.org) and click Add website. Adding it covers both yourchurch.org and www.yourchurch.org. You only do this once; it's saved in Settings, Websites.
  2. Give the widget a name (for example Church website) and click Create widget.
  3. Keep the Recommended code selected, click Copy code, and paste it on the page where the form should appear.
  4. Publish the page and open it to check. Website builders' preview modes won't show the form; the published page will.

Only an organization admin can add websites. If you don't see Add website, ask your admin to add it in Settings, Websites.

Where to paste

  1. WordPress: edit the page, add a Custom HTML block, paste the code, and click Update. In Elementor, use the HTML widget.
  2. Squarespace: add a Code block, paste the code, and save.
  3. Wix: click Add Elements, then Embed Code, then Embed HTML, and paste the code.
  4. Webflow: drag in an Embed element and paste the code.
  5. Any other site: paste the code into the page's HTML where it should appear.

If the form doesn't show up

Check that the website is listed, with the same address as the page you pasted it on, and that the widget is turned on. Some websites block scripts: on the widget, switch to the If your site blocks scripts code and paste that instead. On WordPress, a speed or caching plugin can delay the form; exclude regi-fy.com/embed.js from its script settings. WordPress.com plans below Business remove this kind of code, so use the Register button there.

Good to know

Before registration opens, the form shows a countdown and lets people ask for a reminder, then turns into the form when it opens. Events that need a Regify account, have a password, or let people pick seats or booths on a map show a button that opens registration on Regify instead, and the Share page tells you when that applies.

To pause a button or form, turn it off rather than deleting it. Deleting a widget removes registration from every page using its code.
