Set up automatic text reminders

Send hands-off texts on autopilot: a registration confirmation, a pre-event reminder, a time or location change alert, and a post-event follow-up.

Beyond one-off blasts, you can set texts that fire automatically for every opted-in attendee, so you never have to remember to send them. Each one is independent - turn on only the ones you want, each with its own message. You'll find them on the event's Text messages page, in the automatic reminders section.

Registration confirmation

Sends the moment someone finishes registering - a quick "you're in" with a link to their ticket. Supports the tokens {{org}}, {{event}}, {{date}}, {{location}}, and {{ticketUrl}}.

Pre-event reminder

Sends before your event starts. You choose how far ahead from a set of presets - 1 hour, 3 hours, 1 day, 2 days, or 1 week - and Regify counts back from your start time.

Time/location change alert

Fires automatically whenever you change the event's date, time, or location, so nobody turns up at the wrong place or time. It includes a link to the updated event details.

Post-event follow-up

Sends after your event ends, using the same 1 hour to 1 week offsets - a thank-you, a survey or feedback link, or a nudge toward your next event.

Turn one on

  1. On the event's Text messages page, find the automatic reminders section.
  2. Switch on the trigger you want and edit its message - the tokens above fill in per recipient.
  3. For the pre-event and post-event reminders, pick the timing offset, then save.

Automatic texts follow the same rules as blasts: they only reach opted-in attendees, they spend from your prepaid credit, they respect quiet hours, and each carries a STOP opt-out.
