Buy text-message credit

Texts send from prepaid credit. Top up your wallet, understand what each message costs, and turn on auto-recharge so you never run dry mid-send.

Regify sends text messages from a prepaid credit balance, so you're never surprised by a bill. You add credit up front, and each message deducts from it as it sends. There's no monthly fee - you only pay for what you send.

What a text costs

On Regify's shared number, each message segment is $0.05. On your own dedicated number it's $0.03 (see "Get your own text number"). A segment is about 160 characters - a longer message sends as multiple segments, so a 320-character text costs two segments. The composer shows the exact segment count and cost before you send.

Add credit

  1. Go to Settings → SMS credits (or tap "SMS credits" from any event's Texts page).
  2. Pick a top-up amount - $10, $20, $50, or $100. Credit is bought in $10 increments.
  3. Pay with your card. Your balance updates immediately and is ready to send.

Never run dry: auto-recharge

Turn on auto-recharge so a scheduled blast never stalls for lack of funds. You set three things: a threshold (when the balance drops below it, Regify tops up), a recharge amount, and a daily cap so a runaway never overspends.

  1. On the SMS credits page, open Auto-recharge.
  2. Set your threshold (e.g. top up when the balance falls below $10).
  3. Set the amount to add and a daily cap you're comfortable with, then save.

If a scheduled text ever can't be funded, Regify holds it and emails you rather than sending a partial blast - add credit and it goes out on the next sweep.
