Create discount codes

Run early-bird, sponsor, or member promotions with percentage or dollar discounts - typed at checkout or applied automatically.

Discount codes let you run promotions at checkout - an early-bird rate, a sponsor code, or a member perk. A code takes a percentage or a flat dollar amount off, and you decide who qualifies and how many times it can be used.

Create a code

  1. Open your event, open the Discounts card, and click New code.
  2. Enter the code attendees will type (for example EARLYBIRD), choose Percent off or Dollar amount off, and set the value.
  3. Optionally cap redemptions with Max uses and set an Expires date so it ends when your promotion closes.
  4. Under Who qualifies, leave it on the whole order, or limit it to attendees matching a form answer or within an age range.
  5. Click Create. The code is live on your event right away.

Typed vs automatic

By default, attendees enter the code in the Promo code box at checkout and click Apply. Turn on Apply automatically and no one has to type it - it lands on its own for everyone who qualifies, and shows an Auto badge in your list.

How discounts combine

For a whole-order code, the single best one wins - a 20% code beats an automatic 10%, rather than the two stacking. Codes limited by a form answer or an age range apply per qualifying attendee, and those per-attendee discounts add on top of any whole-order discount. A discount never takes the total below zero.

Manage codes

Each code shows how many times it has been used and flags when it is expired, used up, or disabled. Use Edit to change it, Disable to pause it without losing its history, or Delete to remove it. To gate a code by a form answer, add a per-attendee custom field on your event first.
