Collect signed waivers and e-signatures
Turn a Consent field into a signed waiver: the attendee types or draws a signature, and Regify stores a sealed record you can download as a PDF.
A plain consent checkbox is fine for terms and conditions, but for liability waivers and medical releases you often want an actual signature. Regify's Consent field can require one, turning agreement into a signed waiver with a tamper-evident record.
Add a waiver
- Open your event, go to the Fields tab, and add a field of type Consent / Waiver.
- Paste in your waiver or release text - this exact wording is what the attendee agrees to and what gets stored.
- Turn on Require signature to make it a signed waiver instead of a simple checkbox.
- Choose per attendee (each person signs) or per order, mark it required, then save.
What the attendee does
During registration they read the waiver and sign it - typing or drawing their signature along with their name. A required waiver can't be completed without a signature.
What gets stored
Regify keeps a sealed record for each signature: the signer's name, the exact waiver text they agreed to, and the date and time they signed. The record is cryptographically sealed, so any later change to it is detectable - that's what lets it stand up if you ever need to produce it.
Download a signed waiver
Open any attendee from your roster and download their signed waiver as a PDF: one self-contained document with the text, the signer's name, and the timestamp, ready to hand to insurance or legal if it's ever requested.
