Duplicate an event

Running it again? Duplicate copies your tickets, form and settings into a new draft. Your attendees stay with the original.

Built an event you'll run again, like next year's camp or a monthly meetup? Don't start over. Duplicate makes a fresh draft with everything already set up.

Steps

  1. Open the event, go to Settings, and choose Copy or delete.
  2. Under Duplicate this event, click Duplicate.
  3. Decide whether returning attendees should see their answers from this event filled in, then confirm.
  4. You land in the new draft. Change the title and dates, then publish when it's ready.

What comes along

Tickets and prices, add-ons, your registration form, discount codes, scheduled emails, sessions and speakers, lodging, and floor maps. Sold counts and discount uses start back at zero.

What stays behind

Attendees, orders, payments, and anything people submitted stay with the original event. Booth assignments and check-in kiosk passwords don't carry over either.

Before you publish

The copy keeps the original dates, and date-based reminder emails come over turned off. Set your new dates, then turn the reminders back on.

Running the same event on a schedule, like every month? Make it a recurring series instead: in Settings, under Basics, open Make this a recurring series and each new date is created for you.
