Run a waitlist for sold-out tickets

When a ticket sells out, let people join a waitlist and get invited automatically the moment a seat frees.

A waitlist turns a sold-out ticket into a queue instead of a dead end. There's nothing to switch on - the moment a ticket or product is sold out, a Join waitlist option appears on your public event page.

How people join

On the event page, a sold-out ticket shows Sold out with a Join waitlist link. The visitor enters a name and email and they're added to that ticket's queue, in the order they signed up. They're told you'll email them if a spot opens.

Automatic invites

When a seat frees - someone cancels or is refunded, or you add capacity - the person at the top of the list is invited automatically. They get an email with a private link that holds their seat for 24 hours. If they don't claim it in time, the offer expires and rolls to the next person.

Manage the queue

  1. Open your event and open the Waitlist card to see everyone, with a count of who's waiting and who's been invited.
  2. Invited entries show an Invited tag and when their hold expires.
  3. Use Invite now to offer the next open seat to someone yourself.
  4. Use Remove to drop anyone who's no longer interested.
