Share one link and let people claim a shift with just their name - no account, no email required, and no cost. When the day comes that you need to collect money, you're already on a platform that does it properly.
SignUpGenius invented this category and does the basics well. Two things push people to look elsewhere: its free tier is ad-supported with paid tiers above it, and the moment your sign-up needs to collect money it charges 3.95% + $0.95 per transaction. Regify sign-up sheets are free, ask a volunteer for nothing but a name, and sit next to a full registration platform for the day your potluck becomes a ticketed banquet.

Regify sign-up sheets are free, with no per-sign-up or subscription fee. Every sheet carries two sponsor cards for our own products, Regify and AttendanceNow - they pay for the free tier, which is how it stays free. We never run third-party ad networks. If you later need to collect money, that happens in Regify event registration at 1% + $0.50 per registrant plus standard payment processing (Stripe, currently 2.9% + $0.30). Competitor figures are their published rates and change over time - check each provider's current pricing.

Yes. Sheets are free with no per-sign-up fee and no subscription. They are how people meet Regify, so we have no plans to charge for them.
Neither. By default a volunteer claims a spot with just a name. You can turn on required email per sheet if you need to send reminders, but it is off unless you ask for it.
No third-party ads, ever. Each sheet carries two sponsor cards in the footer for our own products, Regify and AttendanceNow - they are what pays for sheets being free, and nothing interrupts the sign-up itself.
That is the one thing sheets deliberately do not do. The same account runs full Regify event registration with tickets, add-ons and direct Stripe payouts at 1% + $0.50 per registrant plus standard processing.
Add your spots, share one link, and watch it fill. Free, with no per-sign-up fee.
